Directions: Look over the list of tips. Rewrite them until they make sense and are correct (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.). All sentences should be in the imperative form. Feel free to delete in order to avoid duplication.

 

GUIDELINES FOR POSTING TO THE DISCUSSION BOARD

 

If you want to receive the maximum number of points on the Discussion Board assignments, follow these guidelines:

 

  1. Read the article carefully and try to concentrate on it.
  2. Get the main idea and understand the supporting paragraphs or phrases
  3. Read the question thoroughly and response to the prompt according to the instruction
  4. Post your reply to the prompt of your choice first before you reply to other student's responses
  5. Do not repeat your classmate's ideas or comments and try to create an original inside.
  6. In order to get the maximum points reply the prompt with at least  75 words.
  7. Read your reply and check for spelling and grammar mistakes.
  8. Allow plenty of time for others to reply to what you have written and make sure you are keeping the deadline
  9. Read the prompt of your classmates carefully before you reply and properly address to the author.
  10. Create an interesting and unique reply.
